Peugeot Joins Recall Bandwagon
It is recall season with Toyota had issuing a new recall list and suspended sales of the models affected. This was followed by a Honda recall that included 646,000 Fit/Jazz and City cars.
Now Peugeot also joined and have issued a statement that “Peugeot 107s and Citroen C1s” will be recalled just like Toyota, which a spokesman said would be an “identical campaign as Toyota”.
According to the BBC, the reason Peugeot is issuing this recall is because the models affected are made in a Czech plant, which was a “joint venture with Toyota”. Peugeot reported that the recall would affect “under 100,000” cars. At the time of writing it is not known when this recall with start.
