Toyota witnessed an increase in sales which has lifted a pall of gloom shrouding the Indian auto industry. The Etios sold 4,844 units in January 2012 compared to 1,651 units in the corresponding period in 2011. Toyota Lexus GX 460 sales resumes
Toyota has resumed sales of the 2010 Lexus GX 460 SUV, a fortnight after it announced a recall of the 9,400 models already sold.
The Japanese giant stopped sales of the vehicle after Consumer Reports magazine declared the SUV a safety risk and warned that it was prone to oversteering in turns.
