US regulator Approves Toyota gas pedal fix
U.S. regulators have approved Toyota’s gas pedal fix. According to CNBC that U.S. regulators had approved Toyota’s gas pedal fix, which would help fix sticky gas pedals on millions of cars. They continued to report that dealers could get hold of parts to start repairs as soon as this Thursday.
Toyota will be releasing full details today, although this is a rumor that was leaked by dealers who asked, “not to be identified”. The fix should be made official today in the early morning. Read more about this on CNBC.
The Japanese automaker first announced a recall for dangerous accelerator pedals in North America, which then spread to China and Europe. Toyota then stopped production and sales of the eight models affected.
